Elmspur (“we,” “us”) operates elmspur.com and publishes the Elmspur Cascade WordPress plugin. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is used.
The free plugin
The free Elmspur Cascade plugin (Cascading Dropdown Redirect Block) makes no external HTTP requests and collects no data from visitors to your site. It renders dropdown HTML server-side and runs a small JavaScript file on the front end to handle selection and redirect logic. No tracking, no analytics, no cookies are set by the plugin.
Purchasing Pro
Pro licenses are sold through Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record. When you purchase, Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, and payment details directly. We receive a notification of your purchase and a license key to deliver to you; we do not receive or store your payment card details. Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy governs data collected at checkout.
License activation and validation
When you activate Elmspur Cascade Pro, the plugin sends your license key and your site’s URL to the Lemon Squeezy licensing API (api.lemonsqueezy.com) to register and verify the license. The same request is made once daily to re-validate the license. This is necessary to enforce the per-site activation limits included in each plan.
The following data is stored in your WordPress database (wp_options) by the Pro plugin: your license key, license status, expiry date, the date of the last successful check, and any error message from the most recent check. This data is only used to determine whether Pro features are active on your site.
Support and contact
When you contact us for support, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your request. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
